Marc grew up in New Braunfels, Texas working in restaurants in the dish room at the age of twelve and immediately fell in love with the work, the atmosphere, and the excitement. From that first job, he never looked back. After working for years in restaurants, he decided to formalize his training by attending the C.I.A. in Hyde Park and working in New York City.
These four years in NYC were transformative years in his career while working for Terrance Brennan and Dave Pasternak at Picholine. It was here that he learned the important lessons of becoming a better cook and experiencing what it would take to become a chef.
Since leaving NYC, Marc earned a degree in Nutrition, has worked for some of the best restaurants in Austin, culinary schools and hotels in Austin and Oklahoma, and now owns and operates Dunham Hospitality Group. Marc lives in OKC with his wife Jenny and 3 daughters, Olivia, Emily, and Claire.
